When you come to iPride Notary, Fingerprinting & Apostilles for your licensing, employment background check, or personal record-review fingerprinting appointment, preparing in advance ensures a smooth, rapid, and successful experience. Missing forms or invalid identification can delay your background submissions.

Applicant Preparation Checklist

Valid Identification

Bring a government-issued photo ID that is current (unexpired). Note: The name on your photo ID must match the name on your fingerprint request forms exactly. Acceptable forms include:

State-issued Driver's License or ID Card
U.S. Passport or Passport Card
Military ID Card
Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

Fingerprinting Request Form

If you have a specific LiveScan or fingerprinting request form from your employer, licensing board, or governing agency (such as a gaming or nursing board), make sure to bring it with you. The form must contain routing codes (such as an ORI number or account codes) to ensure your results reach the correct department.

💡 Pro-Tips for Successful Print Capture

Digital LiveScan technology relies on capturing high-contrast ridges. To minimize the chance of unreadable prints or background checks being rejected due to poor print quality, follow these skin care tips before your appointment:

Hydrate Dry Skin: If your hands are naturally dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer or lotion a few times in the days leading up to your visit. Dry skin makes finger ridges faint and hard to scan.
Avoid Hand Sanitizer: Do not use alcohol-based hand sanitizers immediately before your session. Sanitizers dry out the skin rapidly, which can degrade ridge quality. We provide hand washing facilities at our Summerlin office.
Wound Care: If you have severe cuts, open blisters, or bandages on your fingertips, we may need to reschedule your appointment or wait until your skin has healed for a complete ten-print capture.
Warm Your Hands: If your hands are very cold, it can restrict blood flow and make scanning more difficult. Rub your hands together or wash them with warm water before rolling.
