What is an Apostille?

An apostille is a specialized certificate issued by a designated authority, often the Secretary of State, that confirms the authenticity of public documents. It simplifies the authentication process by certifying that the document is genuine, allowing it to be recognized and accepted in countries that are part of the Hague Apostille Convention.

Why is an Apostille Needed?

An apostille is required when presenting public documents abroad to establish their validity. It eliminates the need for further verification or certification in the destination country, saving time, effort, and potential complications. Documents commonly requiring an apostille include birth certificates, marriage licenses, educational transcripts, adoption papers, and powers of attorney.

iPride Notary and Apostille 24/7 Process Makes Obtaining an Apostille Simple

Apostilling documents can be a difficult process. In most cases, you will need to obtain an original, certified copy of the document you are required to apostille. Once obtained, the original document will have to be submitted to the issuing office of authentications, such as the Secretary of State or the US State Department, for apostille.

The biggest challenge in the apostille authentication process is the unique document and Secretary of State or State Department requirements one must meet before the document is valid for apostille. This is why iPride Notary and Apostille 24/7 offers a commitment free document review process that will ensure your documents meet all the requirements necessary for Apostille or Legalization.

Our comprehensive document apostille services allow us to prepare, file and obtain your apostille documents for every state on your behalf in the most convenient and professional manner. For personal and business documents, we can provide same day apostille service, but please keep in mind that federal documents through the U.S. State Department take more time.
