Steps to Obtain Your Real Estate License
- Complete Educational Requirements
Fulfill the necessary educational requirements for your specific license type. These requirements may vary depending on the license you are pursuing. - Pass Your Exams
Successfully pass your state and/or national real estate exams. Exam results must be dated within twelve months of your application submission. - Fill Out Your Real Estate License Application
Complete the application for your Real Estate License. - Get Fingerprinted
Visit iPride Notary, Fingerprinting & Apostilles or another approved vendor to have your fingerprints taken. Nevada residents should submit fingerprints via Live Scan unless you are applying for a Community Manager License, which requires fingerprint cards. We stock the required FD-258 fingerprint cards. Submit either two fingerprint cards or your Live Scan Fingerprint Verification Form, signed and stamped by us, with your application. You can also provide a verification form from your fingerprint vendor stating that your fingerprints were taken using Live Scan electronic submission. - Submit Your Completed Application
Submit the original, completed application—copies will be rejected. Ensure your application is submitted within 90 days of being fingerprinted, as submissions after 91 days will require you to get fingerprinted again at your own expense.
